~UPDATE ~
We had an excellent experience at TE-14 at Ft. Story, on 3-25-14. We were briefed by the program organizers and paired with our POC's for the day. Our presentation was made to the subject matter experts for Spec. Op's K-9 units for all service branches, i.e., the TE's tasked with K-9 Spec Op's were present and representing their respective service branch units (Army, Marines, Navy, etc.). The K-9 POC's were very knowledgeable, were on subject matter, were very engaged and listened to every word that I said. They understood the fundamental tenets of the 'science and chemistry' behind the FTK-9 technology and were assistive in providing feedback enabling a better understanding of what POC's and K-9 units experience and need in the field and during battle conditions when K-9 units are injured and need medical attention.

This interaction has allowed us to gain a better understanding of the needs of the warfighter and to come away from the exercise with a firm knowledge of 'what works best for the warfighter'. We both learned a lot and the level and high degree of professionalism and camaraderie were inspirational to 'this old dog'! I want to extend 'Kudo's' to Spec Ops Team Leader, "JH", and thank him, Cal, Rich and all the other guys for such a warm reception and for the courtesy and respect shown to our team. Actually, our team was treated as if we were 'Dignitaries', afforded every courtesy, and the TE-14 Organizers and Staff carried-out an excellent program with seamless integration and presentation of multiple vendors at a fantastic venue. Well Done and thanks to SOCOM and TE's for the gracious hospitality and professionalism. Special 'Thanks' to Adm. McRaven and the Staff at SOCOM HQ for the opportunity to participate in such an outstanding operation. On to the 'next-level'!
